NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received at the City Hall of the City of Stevenson (“City” or “Owner”) 7121 E. Loop Road, Stevenson, Washington 98648 until 2:00
P.M., local time, according to the time clock and document stamp at City Hall on Thursday, June 12, 2025 for the SW Cascade Avenue Utility Replacement; Project No. 2408A; and then publicly
opened and read as soon thereafter as possible.

The project area of work defined by this Contract is in Stevenson, WA, along Cascade Avenue between Russell Avenue and the Cascade Boat Launch. Work includes replacing approximately
1,224 linear feet of aging water main with new 8-inch HDPE water main by way of pipe bursting, asbestos cement pipe removal, water service replacements, and appurtenances; construction of
approximately 973 linear feet of new 12-inch PVC sewer main, 34 linear feet of 6-inch force main, sewer services, and appurtenances; and construction of approximately 82 linear feet of 8-
inch PVC storm sewer main and catch basin. Work also includes traffic control, light pole relocation (bid additive), sidewalk and curb restoration, abandonment of existing sewer
facilities, connections to existing facilities, sewer bypass pumping, and trench restoration.

The City reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, republish the call for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the City is served.

All work on this project will be subject to state prevailing wage rates.

This project is funded through the Washington State Public Works Board program with state funds.

All contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to perform the work under this
contract.

Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City.
